The 2026 Rady JCC Sports Dinner is honouring The Peel Family , a a family whose story is defined by shared purpose, quiet leadership, and a deep belief in building something lasting together.
For more than four decades, Sally and Jeff Peel have lived their lives guided by honesty, integrity, loyalty, and, above all, family first. From a chance meeting in Edmonton that led to an engagement just 90 days later, to settling in Winnipeg in 1982 to raise their family, everything they have built has been rooted in partnership and trust.
That same spirit became the foundation of Clean Line, the family-owned business Sally and Jeff started with two trucks, two employees, and a clear vision to grow something meaningful from the ground up. Jeff worked in the field. Sally kept the books. Together, they built a company known across Winnipeg for its reliability, its care, and its deep-rooted commitment to people.
Those same values have guidee every decision they make, both at home and in business.
At the heart of the Peel Family is family itself. Sally and Jeff’s children Jeromy, Blake, and April, along with their partners Anna and David, and grandchildren Jaxen, Brayden, Kadee, and Lily, are an important part of the story that shapes the values the Peels live by. Today, Clean Line continues to grow with the next generation leading alongside them, a point of pride that reflects the values the Peel Family has always stood for. Jeromy now runs the business with guidance from his parents, while third-generation Brayden is learning the ropes with the goal of one day stepping into his uncle’s role.
Nothing Meaningful is Built Alone.
“When there’s chaos at work, which there almost always is, we come home and order some food, and have discussions as a family,” Jeromy said. “Big decisions are made together, often around our dinner table.”
“I’ve lost count of how many pizzas we’ve gone through figuring things out, but it works. It keeps us grounded and makes sure the choices we make reflect what really matters.”
For the Peels, success is measured not just by growth, but by time spent together and goals reached as one.
But what defines the Peels most is not what they have built in business. It is how they show up for others.
Their giving is thoughtful, consistent, and deeply personal. Whether supporting community initiatives, creating career opportunities for those facing barriers, or quietly helping families in need, the Peel Family gives because they believe it is the right thing to do.
They believe generosity leaves a legacy that extends far beyond profit and into future generations.
And that belief carries through their connection to the Rady JCC.
Jeff’s journey with the Rady began with a personal commitment to health and quickly grew into something much deeper. Over the years, the Rady has become a place of friendship and belonging for the entire family. A place where their children grow and values are lived every day.
When asked what the words ‘Built Together’ truly mean, the family’s founders shared it simply and honestly.
“Built Together means unity,” said Sally and Jeff. “It is about working side by side, making decisions together, and staying strong as a family. Everything we do, in business and in life, starts with sitting down together and remembering what really matters.”
“Teaching our kids and grandkids the meaning of giving and the impact they can have is what we are most proud of.”
On Thursday, June 4, our community will come together to celebrate the Peel Family, their story, and the values that guide them at the 52nd Annual Rady JCC Ken Kronson Sports Dinner.
The evening honours not only what they have built, but how they have built it. Together.
